Webinar! From the Ground Up; Bathroom Inspection Techniques for Real Estate Professionals

This 4-hour interactive course is meticulously designed for real estate salespersons, brokers, FHA appraisers, and home inspectors seeking to advance their understanding of bathroom environments, focusing on the challenges and solutions associated with moisture and water damage. Through the use of real-life case studies, photos from the Schluter library, and guided visual learning, participants will engage with the curriculum to master the intricacies of bathroom inspections. The course covers a wide range of topics, from identifying common problems to exploring advanced inspection techniques, preparing professionals to identify, address, and mitigate moisture-related issues effectively. According to the HUD handbook, an FHA bathroom inspection primarily requires a properly functioning toilet, washbasin, tub or shower, all within an enclosed space, with adequate ventilation (usually through a window), and no evidence of leaks or significant damage; essentially ensuring the bathroom is sanitary and functional without major safety concerns.
