A 4-hour course on cultural competence and Implicit Bias that will help real estate professionals to fully understand, converse with, and efficiently interact with different people with all sorts of cultural backgrounds from the time they meet and greet a customer to the closing of the transaction. Topics of discussion will include Cultural competence awareness of one’s own view of the cultural world, attitude on differences between cultures, cultural knowledge acquired on various cultural beliefs, views, and practices, and the skills between different cultures and their interrelationships. Implicit bias regarding groups and identities like race, sex, age or religion will be discussed.
