Tax Assessment Grievance Process
The course is designed to help the Real Estate Professional understand how the Assessment process works from understanding the Real Property Tax Law to the Grievance process. It covers the importance of filing dates, the application process, determination of market value, to information the taxpayer needs in order to challenge their assessment.

How it works:
Before the course starts you will receive a link with login instructions. You can log in from any device with internet access and stream the class live. There will be a live chat where attendees will be expected to participate in class discussions and be able to ask questions. An Educational Coordinator from Manfred will monitor the course to verify attendance requirements for completion.
This course will walk you through the tax grievance process. Subjects include establishing the value of the subject, meeting deadline dates, use of comparable assessment and small claims assessment review. Case studies will be reviewed.
